The UK edition of Harper’s Bazaar named Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge the best dressed Brit of 2011, and with good reason. Her Royal Highness, formerly known as commoner Kate Middleton, effortlessly pulled out all the stops when it came to looking grand this year. Her style is classic and striking, without seeming too flashy. The Duchess managed to please both Buckingham Palace and the public by wearing form-fitting pieces that don’t reveal too much.
From her go-to Issa dresses to the century’s most famous Alexander McQueen gown, Catherine has given many a designer the opportunity to dress her, and we’re guessing she isn’t ready to pass on the fashion crown anytime soon.
