It's also great to see how supportive that Oliver Martinez has been through her whole cancer ordeal; she's got a keeper.

2) No kudos for this site. Miu, I used to love reading this. It was a staple in my internet diet. But the writing, now that you aren't doing it all, is grammatically atrocious, the news isn't as compelling, and the ads are ridiculous. I can barely finish reading one section before a pop-up blocks me or something redirects me. No kudos. It's been fun. I'll miss reading the site. Please let me know when you up-level the talent and find a more user-friendly ad structure. Good luck.

Good on her! I've never been a huge fan of her music, but she's handled all this very admirably and with remarkable restraint.
Also....I have to agree with media. I know you need ads, but why bother giving us links to youtube if all I'm going to hear is a fly buzzing, or "Sienna, Sienna, Sienna"? And the grammar....sheesh! I'm hating the mediaclick popups between the jumps, too.

that buzzing fly ad has to be the MOST ANNOYING THING I've EVER encountered. Worse than pop-ups because you can close the pop up, but that fly KEEPS BUZZING!
to jenny...I understand that miu needs the advertisers to support her site, but the grammatical errors? that's just unacceptable. either proof read the stuff after your "interns" write it, or HIRE SMARTER INTERNS. ones that actually know how to spell and use the right word...EXCEPT instead of ACCEPT and things along those lines.

Thank you! Two of my recent pet peeves addressed in other's comments.
1. The pop-ups. But the worst had to be the style guide host woman who would talk in an endless loop.
2. The spelling and general dumbness to much of the writing here. It's like an uneducated socialite's life.
