Hopefully once all the promotion for Mission: Impossible III dies down, Tom Cruise will spend with Suri, as he does on promoting his films. We can only assume that since the world hasn't had a glimpse of baby Suri yet, that the Scientologist are still molding the child out of clay. That would explain the, possibly planned, nursing bra malfunction of the other day.
More than a thousand cheering fans who turned out Tuesday night to greet movie star Tom Cruise were delighted by a bonus — he brought fiancee Katie Holmes. Cruise, in town for a makeshift premiere of “Mission: Impossible III,” signed autographs and briefly played a snare drum as a high-school marching band played the theme from his new movie.Cruise and Holmes, who had a baby girl last month, arrived fashionably late — about a half hour after the star had been expected.
Cruise was to attend the private screening at the mall cinema with lucky contest winner Kevin McCoy and 150 of his friends. McCoy won an e-mail contest sponsored by “M:I3” studio Paramount Pictures and Yahoo.
Not all of Aberdeen’s 17,000 or so residents were high with anticipation.
“I will not be there,” supermarket worker Tanya Murray told The (Aberdeen) Daily World last week. “I couldn’t care less that he’s coming. I like his movies, it’s just everything else. He seems to be such a jerk.”

I didn't think much of them either, but they seemed to be down to earth nice people, Tom took the time to give my grand daughter a hug and say hello, Tom and Katie also gave my daughter an autograph. What I thought was neat was how they also watched out for the kids that were up front of the crowd and being pushed. Katie seemed to be a very nice girl, she was dressed very casual as was her attitude, not snotty and uppity, changed my opinion, and I wish them the best.

Tom said his adopted kids would work 'shifts' (night, morning) to look after the baby 'on all levels' so maybe they're looking after her whilst TomKat are working.

I was on hand for the Aberdeen event, and it was a wonderful time. Ok so maybe Tom Cruise isnt everyone's favorite actor lately, but if you know anything about Aberdeen, this was a huge event for the community.
And even if you do think that Kevin is a dork, you gotta admit he managed to handle himself very well while wlaking down teh red carpet with a mega super star. He was still his shy reserved self, he didnt allow the spot light to change who he is.. i dont think there are many of us out there who can say the same.
And just so you know baby Suri from all reports was home getting spoiled by grand parents.. Tom and Katie were in town for less than 4 hours, and including flight time they may have been gone from the baby less than 8 hours... and even those who aren't into sciencetology know that even the best of moms deserve some time to spend alone with the man she loves.
so I guess what I am trying ot say is, give them a break so they have been int eh spotlight a bit much, but obviosly you are watching the spotlight for them or you wouldnt know where they were or any of the other details about the event.
