Okay, this photo made us feel slightly bad for giving Britney such a rough time (the whole bodyguard is a gay porn star bit - he's not former gay porn star, that's why we put up the Wikipeda link) over the last, well ever since she married K-Fed. The girl is only human after all. People do trip, but most don't trip while being surrounded by paparazzi and video cameras. That does have to be rough. Although, I'm still not getting the "This is why I need a gun" quote.
(Images via Gossip Rocks)
UPDATE: And of course there's video, courtesy of TMZ.

cheryl says:
You know, all the bloggers are so hard on her. She is young, and constantly hounded. She knows that as soon as she tripped, it would be on the news with some stupid headline mocking one of her songs. Give her a break.
moss says:
I feel really sad for Britney. I made a lot of mistakes when my son was a baby. It would have been awful to have cameras following me around all the time. I think she is a good mother, because her son is with her a lot. She carries him, usually not the nanny. TEAM BRITNEY!
lkate says:
What a week! I never thought I would feel so much pity for Britney Spears AND Lindsay Lohan in such a short amount of time. Damn you, humanity!
welllll says:
OK, Britney, you truly are an incompetent, immature mother, and your lack of common sense makes you a danger to your son.
So stop crying! You're making me feel bad. I can't stand to see anyone cry, even negligent mtohers.
anti says:
She look not just upset about what happened, you can see in her face that this woman is not happy like she claims. Where is her family? Mr. K fed is never around. You never see picture of them as a family. That is sad. I feel sorry for her. I think she deserves a break. But she still needs to drop that idiot loser K fed.
Someone says:
Personally - I feel really bad for her! I just want to give her a big hug... Well after she showers and brushes her hair. I cannot imagine being a new mom with people constantly hounding me all the time. I think if any new mother had cameras watching her ALL the time she would look just as bad occasionally. People need to give her a break and let her live her life. It is bad enough she has to deal with that idiot husband of hers! I, for one, am pulling for her!!
Britney! Take a shower - take out the extension - put on some makeup and a nice outfit and make a new cd.
moss says:
"wellllll"... You must not have kids.
blahblahblah says:
I have no sympathy for this fat, backwoods hick. She married the slimiest pig around. (But first he had to dump his pregnant girlfriend in order to do so). Then she she starts saying "I want to get pregnant y'all". She does so and promptly makes one bad decision after another. Dangerous ones too. I understand new mothers make mistakes but c'mon, this trailer queen is truly bad at motherhood. We all have a thing called common sense. She seems to have none. Boo hoo for Brtiney? I think not. How about a prayer and boo hoo for her bound-to-be-severly-injured son.
stopit says:
Jesus, Britney, get it together. I know you probably do love your son but you need to grow up, and grow up NOW. You are a mother. You unfortunately have no common sense, and I don't think you ever will. You need to know things like you can't drive with your baby in your lap or put him in a front-facing car seat before he is both 1 year old and 20 lbs (which you would know if you read the damn manual) and that babies can't be in the back of convertibles with the top down because the sun is dangerous and it makes it very hard for them to breathe. All these incidents together are very damning. It shows a real lack of concern and initiative regarding how to be the best possible mom. Being a mother is REALLY REALLY HARD. Believe me, I know, I'm a new mother too, and I've made mistakes. But come on, girl! You obviously were way too immature for this, and I am just disgusted that you are pregnant again.
Now stop crying, cause you're making me feel really bad for you in spite of what I just said.
k says:
I do feel a little bad for Britney, cause it seems she just doesn't know any better. But she needs to take a step back and chill the hell out. Her life is out of control. She needs to go live in New Mexico or something for a while. Out of the spotlight...and let that husband of her's make some choices. No good will come from the life she is leading now.
welllll says:
Yes, I do have a 1 year old daughter, and I've made my share of mistakes, but I can honestly say I actually read the carseat instructions before using them, I have never had my child out of her car seat, she has never fallen out of her highchair (I use the straps that are there for that exact reason), and if I was carrying a drink I would definitely have dropped the drink and caught my baby without even thinking about it. Maybe if she did one of these things it would be forgivable, but she is straight up incompetent. She needs to be very vigilant about her son, and she's just not very smart and not very protective.
mg says:
GET RID OF THE FUCKING PULLDOWN ADS!! Or I (and others) will stop coming to this page! It ruins the pleasure of reading your posts.
moss says:
OK yeah, I can see your point. I just feel sorry for her because I would hate to be in her position.
Who is the worse mom, Britney or Kathy Hilton (Paris's mom)????????? I'd pick Kathy...
alyson says:
Erm, you know you can just click that little "continue with A Socialite's Life" thing up at the top and make that go away, right? If it helps, say "Poof!" each time you do it, so it feels like magic and then it's almost fun.
Get over it.
moss says:
Dear mg, you must be an Internet Explorer user, why don't you get a REAL browser before you start complaining.
holly says:
Everyone should leave her alone. Yeah she makes mistakes, but so does every new mom. I don't even think she was there when her son fell out of the highchair, I belive it was her nanny that was taking care of him. Maybe she did drop her drink to catch him, but those wouldn't be the pictures they would show. At least she spends times with him and she's learning how to be a mom, unlike so many other stars.
steph says:
Chill 'mg'...those pulldowns ads help this site stay up and running...it's why this site is accessible free of charge...
nevermind says:
My son is 2 now, and I had a couple of bad mother moments. But none of them were car seat snafus or nearly dropping him or him falling out his unattended high chair. She was probably wearing heels when she almost fell...and all the people who have told her not to wear them while pregnant are saying "See, I told you." She is crying out of guilt, and fear from almost harming her child. I feel sorry for her to a certain degree, but not to the extent of pity. She cannot spit on her fame now. When you sell your soul for it, you get the good and the bad.
dr.mrs says:
people, please, leave her alone. it is so easy to be off balance and trip when you are carrying a baby, and especially easy to trip when you are pregnant - it just makes you clumsy. i'm pregnant and i keep dropping things all the time. plus she was probably trying to get away from all those vultures. she's got enough problems being married to that jerk-ass loser.
2 Old 4 This says:
OK
Britney needs to do herself (and us) a favor and take a break somewhere remote.
Maybe Branjolina can put her up for a few weeks.
Get her head together, take a shower, dump that leech she calls a husband and tend to her little one w/out prying eyes.
She could drop l'il SPF all she wants....let him run buck naked in the warm African sun without protection.....nobody would know.
We won't have to see her every move daily (4 times daily lately).
I know I could use a Britney Break
Brit is time to grow up says:
I have no compassion for this spoiled brat, she needs to step up to the plate and start putting her baby first and the one on the way, she should be crying of shame that the whole world knows her priority is not her baby, Britney you should have dropped that damn drink and held your baby properly, you have had too mamy close calls with this child, why in the hell you aren't listening? Grow the hell up already.
las says:
Nope, no pity.
She is the one who keeps making idiotic decisions, so why should we lay off her for doing it? She's a dumb, immature hick with a creepy husband and a baby she can't care for, and she is too stubborn to enlist the help of someone who CAN.
Why should I pity that? Why should I lay off her? She made the stupid decisions and continues to endanger her kid with them. She made her bed, and now she's lying in it (along with F'Ked's hair grease, lots of lice, soiled diapers and some grimy wifebeaters).
Guess what - not all new moms make lifethreatening mistakes. Not all of them drop their kids on their heads, or leave them unbuckled in the car. If Britney does these things, whether accidentally or deliberately, she should expect to be criticized.
(Oh and holly, there are pics where you see that her drink is firmly in hand)
Katrina Victim Mother says:
A crying mother should one who has two jobs, can't afford babysitter, no money for formula this week and no health insurance if baby gets sick.
Britney - I know paps and media hard on you - but you know what unless you are in Darfur or stuck in a Katrina Hurricane - stop the freakin' crying.
MrStyle says:
I felt sorry for a second than I thought...this is what happens to home wreckers!!! That man had a baby on the way and she came and took him away from his family....this is what happens Brit. Someone give her a million bucks so she can wipe her tears.
Your Mom says:
So everyone now is coming to her defense since we've all seen her cry?
Yes, it's sad that everyone picks on her, but it's with valid reason. I think probably her life is out of control and she has a lot of anger and sadness stemming from her deadbeat husband.
But so do a lot of other SINGLE mothers who don't have a big sackful of money, and they manage to keep their kids safe.
Drop K-Fed, take some parenting classes, and maybe she wouldn't have to boo hoo for the paparazzi (pavarottis).
Ldysunfyre says:
We have been seeing a lot more photos of her carrying her baby. I think that in light of recent events, her publicist advised her to start carrying him more. Unfortunately, as someone above stated, when you're pregnant, you tend to be more off balance. So now's not a good time for her to be doing "bad mommy" damage control by carrying the poor kid around.
d.c. says:
she's got a hired gun.. a body guard to help her.. Okay!!!
He's a strappling-strong little guy.. When he gets taller he's gonna help mom and sis, and be a bruiser. Look how calm and patient, trusting he is with mom.. and he is not retarded.
boohoo says:
All this crap about Britney is so boring, i'm tired of hearing about her all the time can we all move on to somebody else please.
JRog says:
Negligence is a strong accusation I don't think anyone is close enough with her to accuse her of. No one's saying she has to be the perfect Mom but she certainly has the resources to do it and that's what's so mind boggling. She has at least three men surrounding her at all times and she's juggling her baby and mocha latte? Pass the cup off and hold the baby with both of your arms...at least in public. She chose fame and motherhood, and now the piper must be paid.
... says:
Isn't this were she got her drink? She deserves to be slammed for not taking care of her child. It's a baby - not a pet! If that's what it takes for the information to reach that selfish attention-whore's brain then who cares if her "feelings" are hurt? Besides - she is looking into the camera!
Mylene says:
i think she's talking about shooting herself (figuratively) because she knew at this moment that everybody would be on her case for the next month.
Allmeallday says:
Am I the only one to notice that HUGE bald spot on the back of the baby's head? I've never seen him anytime other than being carried, but I wonder how much lying down he does in the home?!?
Soda says:
There are plenty of celebrities who stay home to eat and do not end up in the tabloids every week. Spears asks for the attention, positive and negative. If she wants to be left alone, either learn how to cook or hire a chef. She controls how public her life is.
ANONYMOUS says:
SHE DOES TAKE CARE OF THE BABY AND SHE OBVIOUSLY LOVES HIM A LOT! C'MON PEOPLE LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!
HOW MANY CELEBRITIES HAVE REMANED THER TRUE SELVES AFTER FAME? bRIT IS THE SAME HICK GIRL FROM LOUSIANA AND THATS COOL AND SHE ALWAYS CLEARLY PUTS HER FAMILY FIRST! AND UNLIKE PARIS, nICOLE, LOHAN AND BARTON SHES NOT OUT SNORTING COKE EVRYNIGHT AND MOST OF DOESNT GIVE A DAMN WHAT PEOPLE THINK AND TO ME THAT MAKES HER THE BEST CELEB HANDS DOWN.
hydepark4
I know it is tough to be a parent--but a black bra with a apronlike white halter. eeeewww Come on this is NYC not a beach.
The Bigger Evil!!! says:
The bigger evil is that nasty black bra and white halter top. To top that off with a nasty hair thing going on...Get Thee to a Stylist woman!
Oh yeah...nice catch there Brit. The kid could have ended up with the same IQ as the old man.
nevermind says:
Dear ANONYMOUS,
Clearly you are a FANATIC of Ms. Spears. You fail to realize that no one is critiquing her abilities at being a celebrity. We are mostly criticizing her lack of parental responsibility. Whether she is hick from the Louisiana or an uptown Manhattanite, she needs assistance in parenting and she needs to start with not leading such a public life. Liv Tyler did it, Reese Witherspoon did it, why can't Britney take a tip from them. Her priority, like she says, are her childre. She needs to not just talk the talk, but walk the walk.
mandeena
The reason she wants a gun is so she will feel protected. She can raise it up in the air, shoot it, and Scream, "LEAVE ME AND MY BABY ALONE.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I completely understand, Britney.
maryanne29 says:
I think Britney is learning the lesson of all new mothers a little late. It's not all about you any more, honey. The little guy is your first priority.....first over the cute high heels, the nice cold, refreshing drink, and the cute sporty convertible.
Most of us learned it in the first few weeks since we didn't have bodyguards and nannies helping us. Also, we weren't pop star princesses who had their every whim answered.
He's not a Louis Vuitton bag...he's a kid.
I hope she learns a little more fashion sense before the kid starts school. I had a flash forward to Britney showing up to parent-teacher conferences in that outfit.
ravenswing
You know, I don't feel sorry for her one bit. I'm 41 year old. I wanted nothing more than to have a child. Instead I had four miscarriages. I'm now facing a complete hysterectomy in the fall. And she has been given the blessing of not one healthy child but two. So take f&%&$*$ care if what you've been lucky enough to be given by God. Period!
ANONYMOUS says:
DEAR NEVERMIND
NO AS A MATTER A FACT I AM NOT A FANATIC BRITNEY FAN I ACTUALLY DO LIKE LIKE A SINGLE OF HER SONGS BUR I DO LIKE TO READ TABLOIDS AND IT OBVIOUS THAT BRITNEYS'FAMILY IS HER PRIORITY AND THAT SHES REMAINED UNCHANGED TROUGH FAME. ONE DOES NOT NEED TO BE A FANATIC BRITNEY FAN TO SEE THAT THE POOR GIRL NEEDS TO BE LEFT ALONE!
las says:
Just because she's a "real redneck" doesn't maker that a good thing. I'd rather have a refined smarter "fake" person than a "real" inbred hick. (It's also funny how grimy, trashy and unkept are "real," while the reverse are somehow fake)
Always puts her family first? Yeah, we saw when she put SPF first... in the drivers' seat. If she puts her family first, how come the death grip on the booze?
And, why do people suddenly cry, "Oh, I'm so sorry!" when we see Britney cry? A few tears suddenly absolve her of all sins?
allmeallday, some babies will rub their heads against cribs and mattresses, and those produce little odd bald patches. A friend of mine had a baby who looked like she had a little mohawk.
Anon says:
OK..WTF is she wearing?? Somebody lied to her cuz bitch aint got the body to go around wearing that kinda shit.
ANONYMOUS says:
PLUS ALL U MOTHERS WHO NCOME HERE AND HATE ON BRITNEY DIDNT HAVE THE WHOLE WORLD WATCHING, PAPARAZZI CHASING U, OR A HUSBAND LIKE k-fED NOW DID U?
ravenswing
um Anonymous, until you can get pregnant and squeeze a 10 pound kid out of you, I'd hold off on that expert advice.
Helen Sparkles says:
I think I would cry if hounded by the paps, baby or no baby, not to mention people who don't even know me being critical of my parenting skills. I really am not a Britney fan but do we need someone to show us how much we hurt them before we stop bitching? Oh & it was so much fun too... I have no such compassion for Nicole, Paris, Lohan, Barton, or those scary Olsens!
Kristin says:
She needs to go home and stay home.
Loob says:
I think she said that because she blames everyone ELSE whenever she does something stupid or deeply injurious to her child.
In this instance I'm sure she blamed the people taking her picture.
I feel sorry for her momentarily with the sad face bit too,
but MUCH more so for the baby.
I just revert to feeling angry at her moronic ways again when I look at him.
missy says:
well there is the argument that she looks worse than normal new moms because all of her bad moves are caught on tape. but the scary part to me is that all of her blunders caught on tape are only in public, with the exception of the high chair incident which was covered up longer than it should have (they should have rushed that boy in to the hospital right away and no one would criticise her). how much more goes unreported? do her bodyguards follow her around the house too? making sure she doesn't land on the poor kid? i shudder to think of what she might be feeding him.
p.s. what is in her ears? gross.
blondEE says:
OMG! has anyone actually watched the video? she's all smiles and cheerful, then all of a sudden she turns on the waterworks. what a class act! big applause for the acting job. if she was actually upset about almost dropping her child then she would have been upset the entire time. what an idiot this girl is!
and on top of that...watch the video. the shirt is one of those tie in the back types. HER WHOLE BRA IS SHOWING! and it's not even white, it's black. she is such trash and no one can debate that. i mean who goes out of the house dressed like that? she doesn't even take the "role" of mother seriously...
las says:
All happy and smiley and chirping to fans until she notices someone is taking pics through a window. She stares straight at th camera. Then as soon as the fans leave... oooooooh, I'm so sad! Boohoo! Cuddle the baby, sniffle and shed a few crocodile tears.
Then she gets up and saunters away again, cheerful once more. Please. How could this make anyone feel guilty about being mean to poooooor Britney?
Katie says:
She's obviously having big problems in her marriage, is going to have 2 babies soon and is a wreck. I think being chased all day long just makes it worse. Yeah, she made a mistake with that loser, but I think she's finally realizing it. No one made mistakes in their 20s? I'm not a fan of hers, but seeing these pics does make me realize that they are human beings.
If you love her or hate her, we all need some compassion for whoever is going through rough times.
family says:
She looks very tired. I think she should be more careful though, where is her family? Where is her husband, her mother, or her sister? It looks like she is doing everything herself. I do not know why she hates people taking her pictures. Becuase of those people she became famous. That's the price of being famous and get the high paycheck. Men, she was cute before...
doofus says:
do NOT feel bad for this woman.
she is now feeling whatever emotion that is (sadness, depression, guilt, etc...) as a DIRECT RESULT OF HER OWN ACTIONS.
she chose a life in the public eye. she used the media and paparazzi when she wanted the publicity. and now, she gets it whether she wants it or not.
as people have stated, there are plenty of celeb moms who don't have their mistakes broadcast in the media...why? because THEY LEAD MORE PRIVATE LIVES. and maybe, just maybe, they TAKE MORE CARE OF THEIR CHILDREN!
missy made an excellent point...THESE are the incidents we see...how many more do we NOT see? the she doesn't report?
and mrstyle is right...karma is a bitch!
oh, and to ANON #44...no, most of us DON'T have the paparazzi chasing us and most of us aren't married to someone like K-Fed. however, (AGAIN), she CHOSE a life in the public eye. and SHE chose to marry that scumbag who left his pregnant wife. HER CHOICES. whatever choices you make in life, you TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR. don't ask for or expect any pity if you made stupid choices.
Oh shut up! says:
If any one of us was followed by reporters all day and all night, we would look like trash, too! There are a LOT of mothers who do things with their kids that they look back on later and say "wow, that was stupid", but they don't have cameras in their faces recording their every move and rabid people without lives of their own who have nothing more to do than gripe about them.
And yes, Britney chose the spotlight AS A SINGER. There is no job in the world that gives the public automatic rights to watch you parent every step of the way. She shouldn't have to stay home if she doesn't want to be in the spotlight. Do you stay home? Being a celebrity doesn't give her any less rights than the rest of us have. And the cameras should lay off of her anyway because Sean Preston is a person who hasn't given consent to be filmed all of the time and the photogs are actually violating HIS privacy, if not Brit's.
Oh Shut Up! says:
To the lady who had 4 miscarriages. I feel for you, I really do. But have you ever heard of foster care? Adoption? If all you and your husband want to do is parent, there are PLENTY of kids out there who need it. Criticizing a person you don't even know regarding her parenting skills, or lack thereof, is not going to get you a baby. Pursue adoption and leave other people alone.
reality says:
OK-
this piece of white trash is spawning once again--and im totally surprised no one has mentioned that she dropped her baby so she wouldnt drop the drink that was in her right hand!!!!!!!!!!! This woman has been nothing but a bitch to everyone in the service/hospitality industry. She has treated those who work for her like crap. She doesnt deserve one ounce of sympathy. You reap what you sew my friends--and this pig of bitch whore who is a rude to people deserves nothing less than to be hounded to show the world what a tool she really is. And the black bra under the white blouse is really KLASSY.
She married the perfect person. It's trash on trash love...
Tai says:
Um..she didn't DROP the baby. She ALMOST did. Anyhoo..this chick is in a really bad situation. Yeah, we all make mistakes..and we are not in the public eye so who really cares about our mistakes..right? She's grown..but that doesn't mean that her mind is up to par. She's seems to be very naive. Her leech of a hubby is screwing her from every direction..no pun intended. I hope she smartens up fast, laces up her boots and walks out on his ass soon. I only hope that her second child is healthy..because she seems to be going through a LOT of stress during this pregnancy. Oh Yeah, and where the f'k is her Mother??? She should be showing Brit the ropes..be a real grandmother..help her out..damn.
NiceMommy says:
Wow, some of you are so mean. It is not negligent parenting to trip while holding your baby. An eight month old baby is heavy and squirmy and in some of those pictures it looks like SeanP is arching his back. So what if Britney was carrying a drink in one hand and her son in the other? I give her lots of credit for spending time with her child. The car thing was not the brightest, but overall I think she's a fairly normal young mom. How would you like cameras documenting every single thing you glass-house dwellers did? Being a parent is hard work. Good for her that SeanP isn't with nannies 24 / 7 like many other celebrity offspring.
las says:
How is it mean to care more about a baby's life than a spoiled has-been's fragile feelings?
I love how Britney's defenders never answer the point that so many celeb moms manage not to almost kill their offspring. Repeatedly.
Another thing to notice is that you don't see a lot of celeb moms prancing around in too-long pants and big heels as they carry the baby. Why? Because they might DROP THE KID, the way she did. Yes, babies are heavy and squirmy. That's why she shouldn't be dandling him on one arm. Of course, that doesn't stop her from CONTINUING to use the one-arm thing afterwards, as the video shows! That's good mothering -- he could have died, but okay, since he didn't, she won't change anything.
And since when did multiple near-death events count as being part of a "normal young mom"? If Britney weren't bribing the cops, SPF would be very, very gone.
Spending time with her child? Who cares? That's what a mother DOES. It's what she's SUPPOSED to do. She doesn't get brownie points for deigning to spend time with her kid, especially when she's doing a rotten job of it.
Girly Girl says:
I think we are watching someone whose career has now officially moved from turbulent into full out free fall. At this point, her next move will be called a comeback because she jumped the shark about 6 months ago...
I don't dig Brit-Brit, but she has one baby on her hip and another one on the way and she is married to the supreme king of the Poor White Trash people. And what is she- like 22? She's a baby herself.
I'd cry too.
Lena says:
I agree she is only human but she is a person who is in the spotlight. She needs to adjust her life. She needs to put her child first. She totally tries to get photographed. There are things that she COULD do and SHOULD do but she doesnt want to get rid of the spotlight. There are many famous people who have a life that is safe and secure. She needs to adjust and think what is best for the baby. She should drop her husband and clean herself up. she has the money but her parents never gave her a brain.
anonymous says:
britney still looks hot, little tater tod is fat and cute and yall should leave her alone. and to ravenswing, what fucking expert advice was i giving? idiot
kellirc says:
Okay, thats it! I have read one hick comment too many. Just because a person is from a certain state that does not necessarily make them a hick. I will say that out of immaturity BS has made some bad choices. But that is really no different than a lot of women her age. No one knows what they are doing when they first become a parent, that is why classes are offered. She needs to go to a parenting class or hire someone to come to her home. That is the best way to learn to be a good parent.
jen says:
puu-lease! she's crying b/c she spilled just a teensy-tiny bit of her drink.
yeah, she may feel bad, but there was no excuse for not dropping that drink immediately and wrapping both arms around that child. THAT should be motherly instinct and anything less is inexcusable.
melba says:
I will knock her outfit, which no self-respecting mother would ever be caught dead in, and the car mishaps are inexcusable -- but as a Mom, I totally give her a pass on the tripping bit. Especially now that she's pregnant again; Your equilibrium and balance get all messed up, your ligaments soften, and tripping is fairly common in the second trimester. Add to that that she's holding a wiggly 9-month-old, and I can't fault her for stumbling.
Seeing her cry was kind of sad. I'm certainly no Britney fan, but maybe it's time the paparazzi lay off her a bit. Then again, maybe she should stop prancing around in public and they might lose interest. I guess it's a two-way street.
Whatsthatsmellycelebthinking
Give her a break! When she's back on screen with new music and stuff and then follow her for some magazines ok,but constantly in her private following each move is boring, and shes a young mom now an adult,i don't think her fans are waiting on each move she makes.

Down To Earth says:
I feel sorry for her, she gets bashed about everything and anything. Yes she was crying because she almost hurt her child, what mother wouldn't cry. "I WOULD" But she tripped, it happend and thank god no one was hurt. That is why she has bodyguards to watch over her and the baby. DON'T BEE A HATER, TRY TO LET THE GIRL HAVE SOME PIECE. I think she is trying to hard to prove herself, after all it can't be easy doing it by herself.
las says:
Damn, how many more incidents will Britney fans whimper at people to "give her a break" on?
petersburgva says:
feel sorry for her ? with her millions and her career she could have had the type of life most of us can only dream about. instead she has turned into a white trash slob popping out babies with her bum of a husband.the only thing that seperates her from trailer trash is her money and celebrity.she is a sickening excuse for a human being.when women like her show up on Jerry Springer they get booed.when we see a negligent mother on the street ,and we know kid #2 is on the way although dad is a bum who is never home ,we feel sorry for the kid.Britney Spears is an idiot making a fool out of herself while the whole world watches.the only ones to feel sorry for are her kids.big deal ,she's crying.
las says:
For the last time, Dolwn to Earth, she's NOT crying for her kid. Look at the video.
Until she saw that camera, she was chipper and laughing. Then she notices someone is recording her, and it's all boo hoo.
stop the hate says:
The white trash comments are so freaking old. She seems like a sweet girl. Sickening excuse for a human? You really need to know what an ACTUAL sickening excuse for a human being is. I'm not saying she's perfect, and she has made a lot of mistakes. She's still just a young pregnant woman. Yes, she is in the public eye, but sometimes it gets OUT OF HAND.
The bitterness and plain evilness of some of you people is amazing. Please go watch your own damn kids, get off the internet and stop worrying about her. You don't have to love her to feel sorry for her. It's called empathy. Look into it!
okay says:
Sorry las she's not that great of an actor who can cry on cue. It's probably just the stress of it all and knowing this type of thing will again be the lead story everywhere. Plus hormones.
Leah says:
I also hate to see anybody cry. I think that overall, Britney can be a good mother because she loves her baby.
That said, on the other hand, she DID make her bed. It's true. Britney went after Federline when he was smack in the middle of a relationship with Shar Jackson, and Shar was pregnant with his second child. Bold Britney didn't care. She wanted him and she pursued him with a vengeance. I'm sure that Shar has cried many tears. So, I do not feel sorry for Britney. She is getting back some of the pain back that she deliberately inflicted on another woman.
Motherof2 says:
Well I actually AM a mother and DID FALL once while holding my 1 year old. I twisted my ankle and had a severe sprain from it but managed to hold onto my baby through the fall, and she didn't even touch the ground. It happens people. I also had several falls while pregnant with both kids, once down a few stairs, and that wasn't fun. She is a human being, and even if you don't approve of her choices in relationships, which aren't the best obviously, it doesn't give you a write to judge her entire character. I almost cried when I saw the picture, b/c no matter what bad choices she has made, she is in a lot of pain.
Leah says:
I'm certainly not judging Britney Spears' entire character by these incidents. I'm sure that if I ever met her, I would find her to be friendly, kind, etc. I'd probably say she's a nice person.
What I am saying is that she didn't care when she used her money and fame to lure a man away from his other family. Has anyone read some of Shar Jackson's statements? My God! What about her pain and suffering?! That whole ordeal was quickly looked over by the media. Britney hardly batted an eye. She sure didn't care about what she put that woman through. All she cared about was getting Shar's man. I think she was toting around Federline's other children mostly out of guilt and to make herself look like a good person. Now, she's popping out babies so that she can seal the deal. This is like pouring salt in Shar's wound.
I'm not wishing that bad things happen to Britney. She's young, immature and probably doesn't know too much about relationships. Still, I believe in the law of payback. She dealt out pain, so now she's getting it back. She'll go through whatever pain she has to go through and hopefully come out a better human being.

this picture isnt right after she almost dropped SPF, Shes crying in this one because the photogs keep snapping away for what seems like forever then she made faces at them, this is why she needs a gun so she can bust a cap in some camera happy ass.

i really fell sorry for Britney, she looks really sad. why can't everyone leave her alone? at least she is taking care of her baby (sean) unlike her stupid, ugly, hairy gorlilla husband who has not even spent any time with either of them. i have not seen any pictures of kevin holding sean or even smiling at him.chin up britney your a good mom to sean. SMILE AND HAVE A BREAK, LET KEVIN LOOK AFTER HIM FOR ONCE!!!!!!
Britney Fans Are Pathetic says:
Oh please, this woman isn't crying for her baby, she is crying because of her ego has been hurt, and might I add, she was laughing not long after.
It amazes me how people can feel sorry for this spoilt pampered whore. She chose to be famous, she is a media whore, they pay her wages, she should be grateful that they want to take her picture. She got out of that car, with a glass in her hand and a baby under her arm, knowing full well there were lots of paparazzi. I notice how her fans keep saying "she makes mistake" etc.. She has nearly killed this poor baby 4 times in his 8 month life. that is no mistake.
And she is almost 25, not a little girl, she's a woman. Britney Spears is a self cented uttter skank. If she is having problems with her husband then too bad, she shouldn't have taken him away from his pregnant girlfriend and child.
I bet Shar cried plenty, did anyone feel sorry for her? NO. If Britney wanted to she could stay out of the limelight but she doesn't because she loves the attention. The tears are not real.
She is an arrogant egotistical brat.
I notice her fans are more concerned about Britney's tarnished image rather than the saftey of her son. This girl has no talent she uses the media and pulls publicity stunts because it sells lots of records. Too bad now. Karma is a bitch you reap what you sow. Not everyone can afford the luxeries she has.
CT says:
because she chose this as a career, we should not feel bad for her or watch our own words/actions? anyone who says that should be ashamed of themselves...she's the one that has been entertaining her fans for so many years. it is a give and take deal...
shes still a human, we need to respect that...just because she chose the career in the spotlight doesnt automatically mean that its No Holds Barred and we can say/write/do anything we want to or about her...saying that she chose this career is just a convenient excuse for the fucking idiots that have no more sense than to bash her every move and put her under the microscope. grow the fuck up...
swinechimp says:
Honestly, the media, and people like us, are a bunch of sharks. Some of the previous posters mentioned that she chose a life in the spotlight, and yes, she did, but does this choice neccesarily entail that we get free access to her every move, folly, and foible? I am not a great fan of Britney's "talent," but I do pity her, even her terrible choices in her personal life. Think about it, she has never had a normal life, so she has no idea how to go about having one. I don't think she is the sharpest knife in the drawer, and she definitely should have read a parenting book or two, but I do admire that she is at least spending time with her child. The woman looks overwrought, where the hell is her leech-of-a-husband?

leave the poor girl alone!
Anastasia says:
Years ago the Fleet Street press were noted for being cold, calculating slime, and now the US paparazzi have successfully overtaken that. Many women trip over while holding a baby, many women experience their toddlers falling out of cots or from highchairs.
Okay, so she apparently married a dead beat. Is that a crime? How many non celebrities do this?
Many people may make fun of Britney, mocking or questioning her intelligence, but the reality is that she must not be that 'dumb' to have earned enough money to enable her to not work in a menial job for ten lifetimes at a young age.
Our media here only showed her (in the same venue) from the side, our newspapers here in Australia didn't show these pictures of Britney, they chose not to show the tears. Why?
I don't know whether to feel sadder for Britney, or the media in the United States and what it has become.
jenvampvegas says:
First off, I had seen the pics of the trip, then the crying pics, and I felt a little sorry for her. Then, I watched the video clip, and the sympathy was gone. As mentioned above, she didn't even drop her drink to try and regain her balance. Luckily her bodyguards were there to keep her from falling with the baby. And she didn't even seemed to be fazed by it in the video. No tears, no gasp, not even a widening of the eyes. And, of course, she didn't spill a drop of her drink. If you can't put down your damn drink to hold your infant child properly with both arms, than for heavens sake, give him to someone who can. I'm not saying necessarily she's a bad mom, but this was a bad choice, and she's made way too many bad choices concerning the safety of her child lately. This was not a mistake; common sense says you hold an infant with higher priority than your drink. So, no, the tears aren't working here...

Britney's Ex Friend says:
I can't stand Britney Spears for all of the obvious reasons listed. She is too determined for her own good. She steps on people to get what she wants and then cries about her mistakes later. She's a fruitloop.
Teresa says:
You know what bugs me? Before she had her son, she was always spending time with Shar and K-fed's kids-even if it was just for the photo-ops. Where are they now? Does he ever see his other children (which really is probably for the better)? My point is she has always used the media to her advantage-to make her look good. Now that she isn't looking so good she doesn't want them around. You can't have it both ways.
And yeah, she tripped. But maybe she should stop worrying about the media and just do what is right. Use a stroller, instead of trying to prove that she is a "good mom" by carrying her son around. Of course she is going to be scrutinized by the media, she has courted them throughout her career. I think it bothers a lot of people, especially mothers, that she is more worried about her image than her son's safety. Yes, she is a young mom, but she is also immature-she does not learn from her mistakes. Look at the way she is dressed-she should have just hung a neon sign around her neck that says "Look At Me-You Can See My Bra And Panties!!" Yes, she has a right to wear what she wants or go where she wants, but then don't bitch about it when the reaction is negative. And the whole "this is why I need a gun" thing? She tripped on a crack in the pavement. It is true that being pregnant makes you off balance, and add to that an 8 month old in one arm throwing her balance off even more, coupled with high heels and pants that drag on the ground-its now wonder she lost her footing. The paps didn't make her fall, the crack did. However, if she really feared for herself and her son, enough to carry a gun, she would have had that bodygaurd carrying her baby, or she should have held that baby close to her while she walked through the photogs. But this is where her judgement is bad-it was a photo-op and she knew it. It just didn't turn out the way she wanted it and now she is trying to win back public support by crying. Personally, I would have not sat right in front of a big picture window to do it-but then again, she knew it was a photo-op.

Im just here to post I dont give a fuck about this stupid fat bitch or her fat, ugly little baby.
las says:
Anastacia, you are very naive if you seriously think that making money has anything to do with brains. Or talent. Rather, assume that the people marketing her were not so dumb... ever seen "Simone"?
Once again, it's stupid to say that all mothers regularly endanger their kids, especially since Britney was clearly drunk. And it's even dumber to give Britney a free pass because she "feels bad" about it. Even if that were true, and she's enough of a media manipulator for it not to be, that doesn't make any difference. Whether she feels bad about it, she's a rotten mother.
(And to anyone who cries "meanie!" about anyone saying she is a rotten mom, no one has a problem with Courtney Love or Pete Doherty being called rotten parents. Why should Britney's feelings matter more? She's no less obnoxious)
I can't understand why all these people waste their sympathy on Britney, because a photo op went bad by her own terrible choices. Her KID is the one who should be sympathized with. A few more seconds, and his head would have split open.
He's an innocent child in the care of an inept, immature woman who doesn't know how to care for him, is too stupid to see this fact, and is too rich to have him taken into custody. And for the foreseeable future, he probasbly isn't going to escape this situation.
If that isn't enough to bring a tear to your eye, nothing will.

OMG, I just checked this site out! It's funny as hell. Apparently, the people on this site are sincere, and portions of the proceeds from the t-shirts go to a charity, so I bought 10 t-shirts, before they ran out!
You just KNOW Britney's gonna keep screwing up her kids, so these guys will probably be around for quite awhile. Check it out: Save Sean Preston Website

By the way, I find it ridiculous that somebody worth tens of MILLIONS of dollars can inspire such a pity party! For godsake people, don't be such bleeding hearts. Why don't you feel sorry for her poor kid?
I'm not saying rich people don't have feelings, I'm saying rich people can AFFORD TO PAY FOR HELP! Besides, who you do you think let's the papparazzi know where the celebs are going to be? The STARS do, people. Get real. That's why they pay thousands of dollars a month to their publicity people. I say Britney has dug a hole, and she needs to haul herself out of it, and leave the kid at home.
michaelle
Have you ever stopped and looked really looked? Since the birth of Sean Preston you hardly ever see Britney without her son in her arms!!! I'm a first time mother and I've have almost dropped my son on several occasions. You don't see anyone making a fuss about it, because I'm not famous. Every first time mothers are stupid and clumsy the first time around. You learn each and every single day how to be a great mother.
NOBODY IS PERFECT!!
Ps. Love you Britney
So to all you Britney haters: Next time take a long hard look at yourself and ask yourself if you whould be able to cope with a baby, a pregnancy and a good for nothing husband? If you answered yes you are LYING!!! Futher more you can only pass judgement if you have children of your own and you know what it's like to raise kids in an unbeareble situation.
