and your first post was dead on re: the arguing "style" of o'reilly and coulter. coulter said something like "you can't debate them", but she's not trying to. she's not trying to talk to them about issues (like starting a 9/11 commission, finding OBL, the handling of the emergency response system immediately following the plane crashes, etc...THINGS THEY WERE "USING" THEIR GRIEF TO PROMOTE!), she's doing nothing more than insulting them, quite nastily, and saying she "can't debate them" but isn't even trying to.

I may be what some people call a liberal, but I'm quite willing to listen to a conservative's viewpoint if they can make an intelligent, cohesive argument. however, she just does NOT have the smarts. she can't debate. all she has is really nasty rhetoric.

Ann goes too far when she tries to make her point. She has points but then she goes bad when she adds her flagrant remarks - which, by the way, are obviously said to get media attention. She seems like a media hungry woman who understands she will get much more attention by saying something mean-spirited.

As for the individual who wrote the article regarding this issue, I hardly think Cindy Sheehan is a puppy dog. Even her own husband and kids can't stand her grandstanding anymore. The Sheehan son was the puppy dog. His mother is another animal.

Ann Coulter is actually a former drag queen from Key West named Pudenda Shenanigans. Ms. Shenanigans was famous for her renditions of "Dude Looks Like a Lady" "I will Survive" and "You Shook Me All Night Long" as well as an extensive Barbra Streisand repertoire. We who used to work with her are concerned for her as well as upset by the vile hatred she has spewed towards her former friends in the gay community. We feel that by bringing the truth to light perhaps Ann will come to grips with her past and change her wicked ways.

NJ - Her distaste for these women using their tragedy to promote a political agenda rings hollow. If the widows were using their tragedy to promote a political agenda that matched hers, she would not care at all and would be rejoicing. Many of these widows had actually voted for Bush in 2000, so they are not "a bunch of liberals." Rather, they are a group of women who suffered great loss and used their position to push for an investigation and a debate about how to stop it from happening again.

From what I understand, Ann is an unmarried woman in her mid 40s, she has been in several relationships (one with a Muslim man), yet refuses to answer questions about whether she is a virgin or has ever used birth control. Ironically, Ms. Coulter criticizes modern lifestyles and pop culture as a catastrophic result of these Godless liberal values, yet her own lifestyle is remarkably similar to the culture she criticizes.

Getting rid of terrorists? I'd say the moral high groundin this conflict is somewhat lost considering the behavior abroad. In fact, there has been enough mishandling to say that we are multiplying our enemies rather than removing them.

Iraq is not a terrorism crusade, it's an ill-founded nation building exercise in which the US could get rid of a government that they didn't care for. The operations in Iraq have not made us as US citizens safer in any tangible way. For every "terrorist" they find, there are more that we may not even know about waiting to attack us. Making us safer would involve improving our ability to forsee, defend against, and prevent attacks.

My only question to their response is how often do those who lose a loved one often describe their deaths in such horrendous detail? It's just really odd. It's hard enough to get most to open up about the gruesome details of their loved one's deaths when the victims were not even murdered, but perhaps passed away from natural causes.

Geez! I think my blood pressure rose just from reading these posts! First, I would like to say that I am a conservative; however this does not mean that I think that most liberals (just as in most people) are jack asses.

Second, many spot light seeking people make ridiculous statements in order to best stroke their ever growing egos, which includes members on both sides of the proverbial fence.

Money and recognition motivate the majority of the people we view via television and read about in newspapers, magazines and websites.
