I was at both the Gap and Urban Outfitters last night and since when did we have to dress like we're going to the Pearl Jam concert, circa 1994? Racks of lumberjack shirts. It's not time for a Cameron Crowe's Singles/Mudhoney/Riot Grrrl zine retrospective just yet. All that ugly flannel just leering at me wanting me to be all puffy and comfortable and grungy. Hell nah! Give me something tight and itchy and stylish to remind me of my weight problem! There's something to be said for going out of your house not looking like you just rolled out of a tent and pissed in the woods.
