Isaiah Washington is turning into a repeat offender, after dropping the F-bomb at the Golden Globes for a second time in public, and the Gay & Lesbian Alliance are pretty pissed. They're calling for an apology from the actor. From Star magazine:
"When Isaiah Washington uses this kind of anti-gay slur -- whether on set or in front of the press -- it does more than create a hostile environment for his cast mates and the crew of Grey's Anatomy," GLAAD President Neil G. Giuliano said. "It also feeds a climate of hatred and intolerance that contributes to putting our community in harm's way." Echoing GLAAD's stance is Grey's Anatomy castmate Katherine Heigl and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.I just don't understand his logic here. How in the world did he assume that repeating the very word that has launched a thousand tabloid articles would help his case? Imagine if Mel Gibson and Michael Richards had felt the need to repeat the offending statements to defend themselves. I can just see Kramer, "If I were racist, I'd feel comfortably using the word, n_____, in casual conversation, like this. N_____, n_____, n_____! See, that's what a racist would do!"

Egroft says:
Ah, wouldn't it be a beautiful world with everyone running around screaming at each other "Faggot!" oh yeah, you "Chink" really, well you "Nigger" oh, well, you "Dyke" hey "Fucking Bitch"...
Yeah, that is a pretty picture.
Let me try...Hey Jane, you're an "Asshole". (ahhhhhhhhhh, that IS better)

Was that rant really necessary? What is the point, to offend him or to offend an entire race of people, the majority of whom are not likely to agree with IW's foolishness

Okay, I feel compelled to comment on statements that are being blown out of text and blasted by the media, yeah you heard me, the media for their special interest. Does anyone remember the reporter yelling Did Isiah call you a FAGGOT? And who responded: Yes, he call me a FAGGOT, he should have never open his little mouth. This doesn't surprise me that the whole thing was staged for media hype and to draw attention to bull &(&&&(*& name calling that's it. He's all over the &(&)(&* T.V. (special interest group crying *)**)(* What happen to the professionalism. This man has a role on hit television show that pays his bills and he politely answered: Yes he called me a FAGGOTT which cause the whole cast members shock! And Isiah is having to take the blunt. They both aren't showing their professionlism. What happen on the set has no business being shared by the the public. I don't think that Isiah should be made the one to lead special interest group fight against people who are gay. If your gay, your &(&&(&(*&( gay live with it. He needs a lesson in stick and stones may break my bones but words will never harm me.
Grow up childish b^%$%^$

As a heterosuxual man and a human being Mr. Isaiah Washington owes mr. TR Knight, the public and the ABC network a sincere apology.
In 2007 it is not acceptable to use the "F" word as it is not acceptable to use the "N" word.
It is that simple!
Unfortunately Mr. Washington has proven himself to be a liar as well as a bigot.
To Jane - in these comments - being politically correct and using hate words are two very different things!
