Life & Style Weekly has the exclusive on Isaiah Washington's decision to enter a residential treatment program, in order to counteract the negative effects his recent public use of gay slurs have had for his hit television show--and also to try and secure his place on "Grey's Anatomy." Life & Style Weekly reports:
According to an insider, Isaiah, who issued an apology for his statements on Jan. 18, agreed to undergo a psychological assessment after talks with ABC executives.
The married 43-year-old father of three was spotted entering the facility at 9 a.m. today (Jan. 24).
Although Washington has entered the facility voluntarily, it's reportedly come at the urging of network brass at ABC.
"ABC has told him he must enter a program to examine why he would say such hateful words," the insider says.This has me all curious. It seems like everyone's going into rehab these days for something. I want to go into rehab and see what all the fuss is about. Are there ponies there? I like to imagine there are.

This is the biggest piece of BS i have ever heard!!! What problem. He has no problem. He used a negative word at inappropriate moments. This does not require psychological evaluation. I understand he works for a major network and they need to make themselves look good but this is ridiculous and laughable!! This whole situation is silly and blown way out of proportion!!! Waaaaaaay out.

This is just a ploy to keep his job. He was totally on the verge of getting fired for creating a hostile work environment but now he's in treatment for his "addiction". You can't fire someone who's treating their addiction because it's a protected disability. He's just covering his ass - he's full of crap!
