Aww, this is nice. He seems like a nice guy when he's not insisting people avoid making eye contact with him on video sets. Anyway, it's said that Justin Timberlake is personally appealing to Jive Records not to bounce Britney. If they did offload her, I'm sure she could sue, but still - it would be the cherry on top of the shit sundae for her, wouldn't it? Stay in rehab, girl! Get well, and don't let Vanilla Ice get the kids!

Britney's problems have forced everyone around her to reevaluate their relationships with the troubled star. That includes executives at her recording label, Jive, who sources tell Star were ready to dump Brit until Justin Timberlake stepped in.

A source close to the label tells Star that Justin has assured Jive bigs that Britney still has a hit album in her. "He's putting his reputation on the line," says the industry insider. Her comeback album, previously due in the second half of 2007, has been removed from Jive's release schedule. "Justin bought Britney a little more time," says the source. "But Jive expects Brit in the studio a week or two after leaving rehab."

Hell, bring in a mike and a drum machine and start recording right there! Do a Peaches-type thing! There's gotta be material enough in rehab to write about for an album! Oh hell, she doesn't write. She shows up, has her voice altered and shakes her ass. Ok, just focus on growing your salad back, honey. We're with you. Brooke's here, and Pam and JT and Daniel Baldwin. We're linking hands and forming a loving circle around you. Don't wreck it.

She needs get serious andsing 'ballads' with a continuing story and grown-up scenerios.. not get back into her slut-porn stripper teen-age crappy-faddish stage. If she can't pull grown-up wiser and talented.. her music career is finished.

This pic is from the days when she still used to care enough to wash herself and even have her nails done once in a while.

Her career? Well, she can always become the US version of Amy Winehouse ("They say I gotta go to rehab but I say no no no ...)

This just shows what a good guy JT is. Considering she cheated on him, that's an awfully nice gesture by him. Now if the tables were turned, Britney prolly wouldn't have stuck up for him. Us women are such unstable creatures!

Sorry to be the bitch here, but why the fuck should she get more breaks when the stupid, spoiled, selfish bitch did this to herself? Yes, it's sad, but this was a long time in coming, & she discounted everything & everyone that didn't pander to her. Over her. Over Paris, Nicole, Jessica, Anna Nicole, Lindsay & all the other spoiled bitches who have never heard the word "no."

Why bother? Britney's career is down the toilet and will never recover and who are these arseholes offering her help, is Britney paying them? Is this just another Britney Stunt??

dq365247,
Couldn't have said it better myself. Let the fake hags fall in the ditch so we can finally give some attention to people with actual talent.

Aw. Despite whether or not Britney deserves it, or can even salvage it...I must say, I've never really liked Justin Timberlake. I do now.

Unless it was a slick marketting move on his part, to appear more compassionate towards women, increasing his woman fanbase...hrm...

Sadly, I believe the latter is probably the real reason he did it.

Eep, sorry for the double post :(

Just look at those original noses, they've both come a long way!

This post is ridiculous. First of all, everyone knows that she is a hot commodity and if she wants a comeback ...she'll do it real big. She has a huge amount of fans worldwide. But who cares. She is worth 100 million dollars......she doesn't have to have a "comeback". She can do whatever the he*l she wants for the rest of her life.
I would love to see her back but if she doesn't want it..that's fine too! Her family should be her priority not her career and for anyone to think otherwise is a FOOL!

Vanilla Ice - You just said what all of us were thinking. :D

xs

she needs more than jt's help to save her career

Nice gesture on Justin's part -- but the fact is, SHE CAN'T SING!! Her hits in the past have strictly been achieved by having some of the best people in the industry working on her recordings. Face it -- she is a manufactured product. She provided the pretty face and body -- and others provided the music itself.

Jive could take any other good-looking girl with the "IT" factor, and produce hits as well.

The only problem is that Britney is no longer the "IT" girl. Plus she has damaged her image irreparably.

While Jive might postpone the decision to drop her because of her condition these days, the fact is to continue with Britney is a bad business decision.

For those of you that think she's over, I totally disagree. America loves a Comeback Queen and we love to see people reinvent themselves (see Drew Barrymore for overcoming drugs, Madonna reinventions, and Angelina for going from sexy/scary freak with blood to an int'l saint).

Britney can do it if she wants! And as for that 1st comment... Wrong! and Ewww! Britney ballads suck and no one wants to hear them. We want sexy dance songs like Toxic and fun songs like Oops! What are you thinking?!

I definitely have a new-found respect for Justin Timberlake. It's tough in that Hollywood world to find someone with grace and integrity. Good job, J.T.!

As a spoiled bitch myself, I empathize with her and would love to see a comeback. All she really needs to do is get hot again. Her job isn't to be talented or smart or a good person, it's to be pretty and lip synch.

Right on, Sexyback! Toxic was great and Oops was good too. Not only that, but truthfully, I think Britney is a good-hearted person. Good-hearted, sensitive people break down at times. It's people like Paris Hilton that don't break because they're cold and calloused.
