The actor known for heralding numerous humanitarian causes has let down local Hawaiian natives protesting the expansion of Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu, by staying there on vacation with his family. The resort threatens to desecrate ancestral burial grounds by building more luxury condominiums on the rural North Shore. In general, protesters against the development are concerned that the Turtle Bay Resort development project will essentially "ruin the way of life for the local community."
