During filming in India for "A Mighty Heart," Angelina's super-celebrity status attracted lots of attention, from both the paparazzi and locals, which added to the on-set difficulties of shooting. The film chronicles the story of Daniel Pearl, the journalist who was kidnapped in Pakistan, and beheaded and his widow, Mariane Pearl, who battled against the Pakistani bureaucracy to piece together his story. Her co-star, Dan Futterman, discussed the limitations caused by filming with such a high-profile co-star with Entertainment Weekly.

''It would usually take about five minutes before people would figure out that it was Angelina,'' says Futterman. ''So we ended up shooting a lot of the exterior stuff in five-minute increments.''
And, the reality-television-style filming style used by the director, Michael Winterbottom, had both its advantages and disadvantages, says Jolie.
''The crew would have to find places to hide -- behind curtains or in the bathroom -- to stay out of the shots,'' Jolie says of the process. ''The great thing about it is if you felt like going somewhere else while doing a scene, you could. But it could get intense. Michael and I would have disagreements over wherehe could follow me. We came up with a system. If I closed the door, he couldn't follow. If I left it open, he could. I just needed to know that if things got too heavy, there'd be a place for me to cry by myself.''
I don't know about you, but the bathtub's where I do my best crying. Nothing beats a good cry in the tub, especially if your clothes are on and the shower's running. I like to pretend I'm in an old-school boy-band video and suddenly, my spirits are lifted. And please, don't think that I'm being dismissive of Angie's feelings in this last bit--I'm just being weird, per usual.

Im sure it will also be distressing for those people who choose to see this movie. I definitly won't be one of them. I see her face in the news too much as it is.

Lawdy this bitch is nutz!

I have no interest in lining either of these adulterous, self-absorbed, over-hyped celebrities, be it Pitt or Jolie... and I will never buy anything they put out again....

And as it was, their two separate movies were already domestic/international bombs, Babel and The Good Shepard. The only reason WHY Mr/Mrs Smith was a huge hit, is everyone wanted to see the "chemistry" of these two, and see for themselves if they could find out if these two were getting it on, during filming....

I love in the article on EW how she poo poos the whole ordeal at the school. The parents were frantic and the kids were scared to death. Of course, it had nothing to do with Angelina or her wonderful body guards. I also love the part about how she should keep the kids beds away from the windows. Sending to kids home to family in the States could have been a safety option, dip shit. No face darkening makeup for the part, huh Angie. You're so full of it.

Gasp Margaret! Send the kids home to safety???

SURELY you are not suggesting that Ang puts the childrens safety over her obsession to be surrounded by people she controls completely.

Ang needs to be constantly surrouded by her adoring little harem...whether they are there by choice or they are there because she bought them to be there.

Has anyone ever seen a pic of AJ out and about with her girlfriends? Having lunch with them, or going shopping? I quess its because she doesn't have any, I think all women are afraid she might try to take thier husbands, since she has no morals.

I thought she said (in Vanity Fair)that she do not cry, because it's a waste of time.

Agree with Mia, the "Smith" movie was completely over-rated and drew people to see the "golden couple". AJ's isn't such a bad actress, but neither is she a great actress. She's not all that beautiful either. As you can see, I've had it with this crazy woman's antics and narcissism and believe that the UN ought to reevaluate using her as a so called ambassador. I will no longer support anything she does and I suspect this new movie will be a flop as the last two she's made have been.
