I think we were all just fooling ourselves into thinking that Britney Spears ever had any intention of quitting drinking altogether. I mean, she's still dressing like a blind woman who likes the feeling of the wind on her nipples and so except for her head-shaving fiasco, not really all that much has changed since she's been in rehab. Well, I guess that's not completely fair, since she's not collapsing at clubs and getting totally trashed. But, it doesn't seem like the best idea for her to be tempting fate with a drink here and there, given her out-of-control past. And that's just what she was spotted doing at Lola's in West Hollywood last Friday.
"She had two Jack [Daniels] and Cokes and an orange-flavored martini," Lola's manager, Sylvie Haines, tells Us Weekly, adding that "her whole visit was pretty low-key and she didn't seem drunk."Girlfriend has quite the tolerance if she's kicking back three drinks without getting drunk. But then again, I'm thinking about my tolerance, which is about that of a fruit fly. If I drink a thimble of alcohol, I basically forget who I am, take off all my clothes and start to sob uncontrollably. It's so much fun.

We might not have *seen* her totally trashed, but the fact that she's putting her clothes on backwards tells me that she's still regularly pickled.
But she might be able to down 3 drinks without getting drunk. Don't fatty foods in the stomach slow the alcohol absorption process? I think the Cheetos diet is there to enable extra drinking.

She hasn't collapsed and been carried out of nightclubs lately, but she's left clubs in her friend's clothes and/or with her clothes on back the front which would tell me she's not inside sipping fruit juice and playing tiddlywinks. More like necking bottles of liquour and stripping.
Is there any hope for her?

huh. Well, I'm no drunk, and have never needed rehab, but I can say for certain that it takes more than 2 jack and cokes to get me drunk!
and frankly, the girl didn't feel like she needed rehab in the first place, so I'm not surprised she isn't sober. but at least she isn't completely losing it like she was
plus, that was probably more fueled by drugs than it was the booze...

Was there ever any confirmation of why she went into Promises? Everyone assumed it was from partying, therefore it must be drugs & drinking.
I heard she was clean (no drugs, no alcohol) when she checked into Promises and her issue was post partem depression. Her manager, mother and father chose to believe tabloids over her and her mother became friends with FedX and his former babymomma.
I'd be pretty damn depressed over that too.
