Australian media mogul James Packer got married on Wednesday to model Erica Baxter. The nuptials took place on the French Riviera and was attended by Hollyweird power-couple, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Hours before the lavish ceremony that took place at the Hotel Du Cap Eden Roc, a private civil service was first held in the Antibes town hall.
It was at the second ceremony that the couple exchanged vows under a canopy of flowers, and at which time the bride sported a $100,000 gown by John Galliano. TomKat's presence on the couple's happy day further hinted at the speculation that the influence of the Church of Scientology was apparent during the ceremony. And let me tell you, the alien bridesmaids weren't doing much to discourage the rumors. Kidding! But seriously. They believe in aliens. I think. Alien Jesus, or something like that. Whatever. I'm too lazy to browse Wikipedia at the moment and figure out what the real deal is.

A few months ago, I was reading about Scientology before bed and I swear to you, I had a terrifying nightmare. For realsies, no joke. Its probably also best to read about it without being under the influence of alcohol or narcotics. I can only imagine what would happen if you were learning the tales of Xenu while partaking of peyote. God help us all.
