People here in Boston were already grumbling because you had to buy tickets to see another four games to see him play against the New England Revolution. And he sat out! Now those people are stuck watching soccer three more times! Who wants to watch soccer without the possibility of a Posh sighting? I'd rather listen to Zac Efron talk about the drudgery of filming "High School Musical 2".

David came back too soon after the first injury (to shut up shallow gossip mongers that bought there way to see him) and re-injured his knee.
He will now need to block out the morons whining about him not playing, take a few months off and heal completely, not risk long term or permanent injury.
This isn't American Football. You can't drug yourself back on the field.
