I guess it's really on. Jennifer Hudson has signed on to play Sarah Jessica Parker's assistant in the upcoming "Sex and the City" movie. Assistant to what? Maybe she's made editor by now. As long as Big's in it treating Carrie like shit I'm happy. Cause I used to love when Big's mistreatment caused Carrie to have one of those whiny monologues and drink. She just kept taking his ass back like a wet rag. I don't know how wet rags take a man back but you smell what I'm steppin' in.
The singer and actress, 25, will portray the assistant to Sarah Jessica Parker's shoe-obsessed character Carrie Bradshaw, and is in final negotiations with the movie's producers about details of her role, Variety is reporting.The movie, which is scheduled to start shooting in New York Sept. 19, revolves around the lives of the four main SATC characters played by Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, who are all reprising their roles. Chris Noth also joined the cast to play Mr. Big again. The HBO TV hit wrapped its six-year run in 2004.
As a 'mo, I'm looking forward to this. *sigh* I loved that show. I also loved how if you ask a straight guy what his pet peeve is, it's usually one of two things: A) having to "talk" about his feelings or B) "Sex and the City". Even the most sensitive ponytail straight guy hates that show. Straight guys who like it in the butt with strap-ons hate those ladies. Straight men who are undergoing castration to transition into transsexual lesbians still think that show is for pussies. On that note, congrats Effie!

Yeah my best guy friend likes the show because the dialog is so blunt and it can be a blow to the male ego. Yeah, I hope they don't screw up the movie either. I always felt they could've done just one more season.

I want to see Carrie & Big get married, be financially independant (tens of millions) live in a high rise, art deco decorated apartment in mid town Manhattan, be driven about in stretch limo's, have a kid or two, a nanny and drink martini's every night. With double olives. And wear only designer clothing & shoes. Oh, that was my fantasy. Well if I can't have it, then I hope Carrie can.
