Vanessa Williams Wants to Help Us with Our Skin Problems

I love this picture of Vanessa Williams, clearly beckoning an additional "Ugly Betty" team member to get in the picture. However, in the context of this blog post I'm writing about her latest endorsement deal, so I'm going to pretend it's her strongly advising America (and I mean the country) to buy the latest product she's shilling. She's just inked a five-year contract with Proactiv, during which time she'll be paid $3 million a year. According to a source that spilled to Page Six:

"She is going to be developing a cosmetics line for the company."
Remember when all Vanessa did was endorse stuff? Even though those damn Radio Shack commercials with Howie Long were annoying, I had no idea how much worse they would become when Teri Hatcher replaced Vanessa. Also, she makes a kick-ass Wilhelmina Slater and I'm no longer even watching "Desperate Housewives" anymore, so there. I don't know what point I just made, but I'm feeling emphatic.
