Johnny Depp Reveals His Darkest Moment

The fun part about perusing pictures of quirky actor Johnny Depp is never knowing if he's in costume for a new film role, or if he's just decided that dressing like a rock and roll butler is his new look for the season. I'm not sure which is going on in these photos, but since it's still so close to Halloween he gets a free pass from me. Oh yeah, and also because I've been in love with Mr. Depp since "21 Jump Street." Oh, how I used to pray that when I was old enough to be in high school, that he would infiltrate my school. Alas, he was snatched up by Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his two children. And now, Johnny's talking to Entertainment Weekly about the scare he and Vanessa experienced during his 8-year-old daughter's illness earlier this year.

"To say it was the darkest moment, that's nothing."

"It doesn't come close to describing it. Words are so small."

Well, I'm glad his little girl is recovered and the family seems to be doing well. The gravity of his darkest moment really does embarrass me though, a bit, since mine involves leftover Halloween candy, a bottle of peach schapps and a working cell phone. And happened last night.
