As is the case for most music award shows, the red carpet is always as entertaining as the ceremony itself. During last night’s 2011 Billboard Music Awards red carpet arrivals, Ke$ha sported a Jad Ghanour get-up consisting of sparkles (naturally), satin and chiffon.  Kind of a miss, if you ask me.  Nicole Kidman looked simple and pretty in a black Dolce & Gabbana dress, and I was a fan of the side braid.  Selena Gomez looked nothing short of amazing in a cut-out number by the Italian duo as well, complete with pin-straight hair and red heels.  No wonder Justin Bieber went in for the smooch.

Also jazzing up the red carpet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas: Gentlemen Hall, Patrick Monahan, Randy Jackson, Taio Cruz, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Mary J.
