A slew of elegantly dressed soap opera stars and daytime talk show hosts hit the red carpet for this year’s Daytime Emmys, looking like they were ready for a long night of celebrating.

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres showed off her trademark tomboyish style in a crisp white dress shirt, suspenders and black tuxedo pants while her partner, Portia de Rossi wore a midnight blue off-the-shoulder dress.

Tyra Banks kept it simple and elegant in a pair of neutral-toned heels and matching clutch, simple straight hair parted down the middle and a very flattering coral-colored, asymmetrical sheath dress. Girlfriend was on point.

But Brenda Dickson took the cake, with her flowing red locks, and body-hugging snakeskin dress. Her low-cut, black-lace plunging neckline says, “Welcome to my bosom!”
