As these things always seem to lately, the rumored feud between rappers 50 Cent and Fabolous originated with a post on Twitter. Fiddy wrote that he was “disappointed” in Fab’s choice to have erstwhile rivals the Diplomats and the Lox perform at the ThisIs50 Festival.

However, 50 Cent clarified to MTV News, “He reached out to tell me he didn’t mean it in that derogatory way. People misinterpret what you type in the text. I’ve misinterpreted what people were trying to send to me, sending me messages before as well.” To confirm, the rapper added, “Yeah, we’re cool.”

I’m telling you, that Twitter. It’s dangerous stuff.
