While in Sydney to promote Battleship, Brooklyn Decker sunbathed with a friend while off-duty today (April 9th). The model-turned-actor (“I loved the travel but I didn’t love the work. I mean, come on, modeling is only so stimulating!” she told the Daily Mail), may have officially completed her transition.
In addition to the blockbuster film, Decker plays a trophy wife in What To Expect When You’re Expecting opposite Dennis Quaid (among a number of other stars). ‘I hate my character, but she was so much fun to play,” Decker said.
It took Decker about five months to call her now-husband, Andy Roddick back. The tennis player saw Decker on a talk show, and had his agent call her agent. When she finally did agree to go on a date with him (dinner and a comedy show), Decker was sold. ”I said, ‘This guy is a catch. This is the man I’m going to marry.’ He made me laugh – he is hilarious and he is also chivalrous.”
