A Documentary I Would Actually Watch

March 15th, 2007 // Leave a Comment

Well, that and the Anna Wintour documentary that I am hoping is filled with backhanded barbs and assistants running rampant and terrified, like a fashionable mess of nerves. But, I have a feeling that in that case, truth is stranger–and more crazy and awesome–than reality TV can ever hope to convey.

WWD recently divulged that Scarlett Johansson will be reviving her role as Louis Vuitton spokeswoman and is set to re-star in the Fall-Winter ad. The shoot for the campaign will be in LA next week and the magic fingers snapping the pix will belong to Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

But what has me more interested in that the Marc Jacobs documentary will be shown to an eager audience in Paris. Dominique Miceli spent an entire following Marc around and noted his work habits. If you happen to have the “Arte” channel or if you are crafty with a hanger and some foil, you can watch the documentary on April 27th.
