The Grey’s Anatomy star is now off the market. Pompeo gives up the dating game for a 3.5 carat emerald cut solitaire designed by Tacori. The lucky man to win the heart of Ellen is music producer Chris Ivery. He proposed on Friday with the platinum and diamond present which was also for Pompeo’s birthday.

There are no dates or solid details on the wedding but we get a hint as to the possible location as Ellen gushed to Us Magazine.

“My boyfriend and I travel to Italy quite often and I think that’s always the most romantic for us. We went to Bologna and he has family there and I think that’s our favorite place.”

Congrats to the happy couple.
