After a little stint in the psychiatric ward (I mean, who really couldn’t use one of those?), Mischa Barton headed from Los Angeles to New York City to begin work on her new CW series The Beautiful Life.

Wearing a gold and green dress, Mischa was make-up free as she strolled through JFK carrying a lead attached to her beloved pet dog Ziggy.

Production for the show, which stars the actress as a drug-addict supermodel, was delayed after Mischa was removed from her home amid reports of drinking and drug-taking. At least she’ll have something to draw on for the portrayal.

The series, which also stars Elle Macpherson and High School Musical actor Corbin Bleu, is expected to resume filming on Friday.
