The guy and girl from “The O.C.” have ended it. Is that show still on? I only saw it once. There was no one hot enough to keep my attention, and Mischa Barton is a really, really bad actress. I mean, she’s very pretty but she couldn’t convincingly feign breathing. I know they killed her ass off and stuff, but I’m over it and onto Heroes and what not. Onscreen lovebirds Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody, who play a cute couple on The O.C. and have also dated offscreen since 2004, have decided to call it quits.

“They’ve been done for a few weeks,” a friend close to the couple tells Life & Style. “They are just done. That’s all there is to it. There’s no drama. They just ended it.”

According to nightlife insiders in LA, he’s been spending a lot of time without Rachel at the clubs with his guy friends.

That friend is really miffed people are asking. Seriously, easy there, champ. Sorry we bothered you. What crawled up your anonymous ass? What – you hit on Rachel once when Adam was drunk and didn’t notice and she rejected your ass because she knows you’re one of his hangers-on from back home and she isn’t down with your cheesy “Entourage” bullshit and besides, she’s in love with Adam and would never do that to him and if you approach me again, I’m going to tell him! But for now I’m going to pretend this never happened, alright? *stalks off through the club*

Adam seems like a cool guy though (despite the flannel) and she’s a hot-ass. So I’m guessing they’ll pull through.
