Poor Adam Lambert.  He’s had a tough time of it this year.  But all of that is behind him because he has been granted an audience with none other than Queen O!  Get it, girl!

Extra chatted with the outspoken American Idol runner-up about it.  “I’m really excited. I want to meet her. We have the same birthday! She’s incredible. What a great leader, communicator, philanthropist.”

Hoowee!  Dial it back, squire!  Who am I kidding?  I’d probably piss myself if I were him.

Apparently Adam has also shed a few (thanks to whomever he paid to send him his meals).  In fact, these pictures are of a newly slim Adam leaving the Hotel Cafe yesterday (1/9/10) with Ferras, who I just found out is an LA-based singer-songwriter, and who seems a bit melancholy at the moment.  Cheer up, Ferras!  Adam seems like a totally fun lunch date!
