Looks like those seven MTV VMA nominations have made Adele‘s head a little big… kidding! The singing sensation, who’s star just keeps getting brighter, decided a little mousse and teasing comb were in order for her red carpet VMA debut at the Nokia Theatre in L.A.

Adele chose to be dressed in all black, a perfect contrast to her fiery red hair and complimenting the soulful music that we’ve come to know and love.

Adele is nominated for seven VMAs, including:

• Video of the Year
• Best Female Video
• Best Pop Video
• Best Art Direction
• Best Cinematography
• Best Direction
• Best Editing

And she will be performing live on tonight’s VMAs!
