2009 has been quite a turbulent year for Yankees slugger, Alex Rodriguez. He acknowledged that he’d used steroids years ago, dated Madonna and experienced more than a few ups and downs during the baseball season.

Shortly after jumping off a parade float, A-Rod chatted with press about the past season on Friday, which resulted in his team taking the World Series while his movie star girlfriend, Kate Hudson, cheered him on.

Rodriguez said he was a better player by focusing more on baseball and less on talking. More than once, he expressed a desire to be “one of the guys.” Except that he would like to continue to date women like Madonna and Kate Hudson.
