By real, I don’t even mean reality. Ali Lohan is director John Carl Buechler’s top choice for the lead role in the remake of his classic 1986 movie Troll. Lil-Lo auditioned last week for the part of young Eunice St. Clair. She helps Harry Potter Jr. (no relation to the wizard) fight off the evil Torok the Troll.
According to John, Ali showed a lot of talent at her audition.
“She was great. The camera loves her. She’s a really good actress…I am personally going to fight for her,” he said.
The original included such stars as Sonny Bono, June Lockhart and was the film debut of Julia Louis-Dreyfus. This director has had good taste when casting in the past, so maybe he is right and Ali will have a career outside of crappy reality programs. Yikes…

Poor Ali. She is getting her hopes up and will fall hard. She has no idea what the business is about and just wants the fame of big sister.
On another tack, I have to tell you guys that I will not be a viewer much longer. You’ve been a top bookmark for a long time, but this new look is just too commercial for me. Midori on each post is just too much. Good luck with your blog in the future!

Damn, these Lohan woman appear to be so much older looking than they are. Ali looks like she’s about 25. What a hard looking little 14 year old.

The director’s previous work speaks for itself:-) Check imdb. He made movies that stank and this one would too.
