Dark-haired beauties, America Ferrera and Julianna Margulies dressed to the nines to receive honors at the 29th Annual Muse Awards in New York from the Women in Film & Television organization.

America selected a simple black A-line dress with shoulder cut-outs, paired with peep-toe heels for the event. The Ugly Betty star was fresh-faced with natural-looking make-up and a slight bouffant.

As for Julianna, the star of The Good Wife pulled her hair back and stepped out in various shades of brown. Personally, I think she should have gone with the chocolate brown for the whole ensemble.

But then again, these women were being recognized for their achievements, not their outfits. NYWIFT Executive Director Terry Lawler said of their awards, “We are thrilled to honor these extraordinary women who have each exhibited true courage in their respective roles on and off camera.”
