Ugly Betty actors Becki Newton, Vanessa Williams and Tony Plana showed up at the Gotham magazine party to celebrate their costar America Ferrera landing the cover.
Dressed in a light blue silk dress with a plunging neckline and capped sleeves, America looked flawless at the event. She topped off her look with some red lipstick and a half-up, half-down hairdo.
The stylish star lamented in her interview with the mag that her character Betty Suarez has turned into something of a hipster fashion icon. “Go down to the East Village. You’ll find 25 people dressed like Betty. Now our problem is, how do we keep her Betty and not make her look too cute? Because her crazy style is everywhere.”
Ah, looking too cute. A problem that has plagued me since birth. Sadly, I can’t suggest anything short of taking a hammer to her face.
