It looks like American Idol is teaming up with Glee! Kris Allen, the season eight winner of Idol, tweeted the news yesterday:

Yesterday (April 21) Kris was spotted doing show shopping and looking at books with his wife Katy in Sherman Oaks, CA.

Kris is set to perform three concerts with the Berklee City Music All-Star Band next month to raise awareness about music education. The shows will take place May 2-4 in New York, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. and are open to elementary and high school students.
