Preying on newly single Simon Cowell‘s weakness for bronze girls in skimpy clothes, bikini-clad American Idol contestant Katrina Darrell showed up to auditions wearing nothing more than a string bikini.

Although not all the judges were convinced that her rendition of “Vision of Love” was worthy of keeping her in the competition, Darrell got her “golden ticket” to Hollywood based on the support from the Randy Jackson and Simon. Although, we do suspect Randy was just trying to help Simon out.

Paula Abdul and Kara DioGuardi were NOT TRYING TO HAVE IT, but despite their efforts to shut out the lil’ hoochie mama, the Phoenix, Arizona resident is continuing on.
