Some nights call for a little more dramatic oomph than your regular, run-of-the-mill, neutral-colored slinky thing. Oscar night is one of said evenings, which is why we thought Amy Adams‘ red, strapless, floor-length Carolina Herrera gown was perfectly suitable.
While a bold red on a redhead can be dicey, the dress and regal-looking green and purple Fred Leighton necklace worked against her pulled back hair and alabaster skin.

She looked amazing. One of the best of the night. Too many boring looks I thought this one was one of the more exciting ones. What was with all of the cream and natural colored gowns?

She looked great and did you check her face out in the front row? Looked genuinely excited to be there next to the Hollywood elite.

Amy Adams is definitely beautiful. She’s also a great actress!

The pattern is beautiful– but would have been gorgeous on her in emerald green. Red doesn’t do much for her.

I know I just LOVED Amy Adams statement necklace! It definalty goes back to old Hollywood glamour. Although I must say it is harder to find this style of jewelry (that “bib” look) but I did find some kinda similar pieces on some small website http://www.amyming.com i’ll keep looking!
