Amy Winehouse Returns To Court For Photographer Attack

July 23rd, 2009 // Leave a Comment

It’s been a while since we last saw Amy Winehouse heading to court for one legal issue or another. The 25-year-old British singer was charged with assaulting dancer Sherene Flash and here she is heading to court to deal with the issue.

Winehouse performed at a charity ball last September in central London’s Berkeley Square and is alleged to have struck Flash after she requested Amy pose for a photograph. The incident is cited as “deliberate and unjustifiable violence” which took place in a dressing room after the event.

The Daily Mail reports that it was when Sherene’s drunk friend Kieran Connelly tried to get into the picture that Amy punched the dancer in her right eye. Amy’s punishment should be to require her to tattoo the words “approach at your own risk” across her forehead.
