Amy Winehouse leaving St. Lucia? Could this be the end of an era?

We thought for sure we’d grow old and gray to snapshots of Amy Winehouse in a variety of crusted bikini tops and contorted poses, earning her pot-bellied keep as the Caribbean village idiot.

We’re sort of sad about this.

Supposedly, Amy wants to leave paradise to mend the cracks (ha. get it?) in her marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil. Since he’s begun divorce proceedings, she suddenly realizes how wrong all those hot, chiseled, aspiring actors were and wants her malnourished, gutter troll back. She plans on leaving the resort and visiting him in jail.

What a classy romance.

“She has applied to visit him in jail in Britain and if he accepts she will
fly back. We will see what is his priority. Amy or her money,” says a “friend.”

Judging from her drunken sailor spending, we’ll see just how much of this phantom money is left. Winehouse may be back on the market! Paging Pete Doherty!
