Another day on the set of The Dallas Buyers Club, another day of looking super skinny.
Jared Leto was spotted wearing a robe and hair net as he walked around the film’s set yesterday (December 05, 2012). Jared Leto plays a transexual character named Rayon in the movie.
The 40-year-old actor and 30 Seconds To Mars singer has shed a drastic amount of weight for the role, much like his co-star Matthew McConaughey.
Jared revealed that he has essentially starved himself for the past month to play his character Rayon.
Talking about the weight loss, he said: “Your body goes through weird stages. Sometimes it’s hard to hold on to water. But for me, it’s not about the most weight I can lose, it’s more to represent the character.
Historically, people have done it for pursuit of self, to achieve a meditative state, so I’m hoping for that. It’s not necessarily a bad thing.”
I’m just looking forward to seeing both Jared and Matthew looking healthy again.
