Andre Agassi Confesses To Crystal Meth Use In His Memoir

October 28th, 2009 // Leave a Comment

In his new memoir, Open, tennis star Andre Agassi opens up about his personal life, tackling such issues as drug use, his marriage to Brooke Shields and the loss of his hair.

Andre admits that he was initially nervous to admit that he had regularly used crystal meth in the late 90s. He claims, “I was worried for a moment, but not for long. … I wore my heart on my sleeve and my emotions were always written on my face. I was actually excited about telling the world the whole story.”

As for the extent of his drug use, Agassi explains, “I can’t speak to addiction, but a lot of people would say that if you’re using anything as an escape, you have a problem.”

I’m glad he was able to get this off his back, but if you’re looking for serious, mind-blowing bombshell revelations, I know just the thing for you.
