Angelina and Brad Pitt are bringing African designed homeware products to a store near you. Well, probably not a store near you, but they are debuting their collection of rugs, pottery and household items at an art fair in Paris in September.
The couple are working with local craftsmen in Namibia to create an assortment of rugs, pottery and other household items. A source revealed: “It combines their two passions. Brad’s involved with design and Angelina is committed to humanitarian work.” All proceeds from the collection will be donated to a local Namibian community.
Meanwhile, Angelina and Brad – who are expecting their first biological child together – met the Namibian first lady last week. Penehupifo Pohamba visited the couple at the exclusive Burning Shore Beach Lodge where they reportedly chatted about possible names for their baby.
Mrs Pohamba said: “We would be honoured if she gave her child a Namibian name.”
