In Angelina Jolie‘s interview with Anderson Cooper she reveals a few things about the birth of Shiloh-Nouvel. She was frightened until she heard Shiloh cry, and Brad was at her side during the whole ordeal.
The interview is set to air tomorrow evening on CNN at 10 p.m. ET. Reportedly, the Anderson Cooper interview was not part of the People magazine deal (Time Warner owns both People and CNN) as Jossip reported. Brangelina are said to be big fans of Coop and wanted to give him the interview.
“You know, because you’re there for the birth, which I wasn’t for my first two kids, you’re just suddenly terrified that they’re not gonna take a first breath,” the actress says in an interview to air Tuesday on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360, “That was my whole focus. I just wanted to hear her cry.”.
“He (Brad) was in the operating room,” she says in excerpts of the interview released to the Associated Press. “And we had amazing doctors. And everybody was so lovely.”
Angelina also revealed during her interview with Anderson Cooper that she gives a third of her income to charity: “Yeah, well, I had a stupid income for what I do,” she jokes.

oooh a whole third of her income? considering that her income is in the multi-millions, that’s not THAT impressive. Although, i guess it is, since most rich people just try to hoard all of their money.

When you consider that another third of Angelina’s income goes to taxes (highest tax bracket, duh) and 10% to her agent, another 5% perhaps to her manager, she actually isn’t left with a huge amount. Big enough though. You’ll never hear about her spending a million dollars a year a la Lohan.
She’s commented about giving away a lot of her money before this interview though. Old news to me.

Some serious unhappy campers here but I’m not surprised. Anyway, I know exactly what she means. You just want to hear that scream and see those little limbs flaying all over the place.
The Torah & Bible both state that a tenth of ones total income be tithed, and so yeah, I’m impressed that someone who doesn’t have to give even a 10th of their income gives 33.3% of it. Anyone who scoffs at that is simply a petty person with to much time on their hands.
Next up. If a subject is a bore to one, why would one choose to be here?

it’s not a bore.
it’s sad that angelina being frightened at the birth of her child makes mainstream headlines. we come to this site for gossip, news sites for news (iraq, the ecomony, etc). when that makes headline news, it’s just plain sad. she’s like the new messiah.
i love this site. it’s a nice break in the day.

I have never liked AJ, I had 4 kids and was scared with every one of them,big deal, women have babies everyday. and as far as her giving 1/3 of her earnings, she lied about not dating a married man, so I don’t believe any thing she says…

Now the news that they want to adopt again… she is collecting children like she collected tatoos. Sometimes more is just more. I would prefer she stop; take a breath and worry about raising the three she has now before adding even more… unless she got confused about the expression “it takes a village to raise a child” and thinks it is “raise a village”?

Angie and Brad are just as screwed us as Tom Cruise. Give me a break! When she adopted Mad and Z she couldn’t wait to plaster their pictures all over the tabloids to let people know she had adopted little minority babies. Now that she has her own, she wants no unauthorized pictures of the “great” one

I wonder how much longer Brad is going to allow himself to be emascualted. Jenn’s lucky he’s gone. If she is with Vince, she at least now has a REAL man.
