James Haven, Angelina Jolie’s brother, has been speaking out about his famous sister. Last week, he expressed concern over her super-slim figure to a British publication and now, he’s opened up to the weekly mag, Grazia. Us Weekly provided the following quote, in which James responded to rumors that Angie is controlling:
“I have never seen any sign of tension between them. They make all their decisions together. It’s rubbish that she tries to control him. They have a balanced relationship; they each do their stuff. I’ve never seen moments where one is nagging or controlling the other.”
He did concede that his sister likes to be the leader in the relationship, “All great leaders are controlling.”
I think that if you take a look at what he’s actually saying, he sounds quite reasonable and simply like a loving brother. I think the problem is their history of strange public displays of affection, coupled with the fact that I have yet to see him in a picture or video clip where he isn’t wearing a creepy smile, along with a facial expression that seems to say, “Tee hee, I have a creepy secret and I’m not telling!”

“Brad has changed my sister a lot. They have an extraordinary bond, but not on the usual level. Brad is so strong for her; when she feels vulnerable, he has the most incredible strength. She says she couldn’t have adopted more children after Maddox without him.”

“The great thing about Brad and Angelina is that they really get each other’s sense of humor, and make each other laugh a lot. They talk about politics a great deal and are very creative together with the projects they are working on. If it keeps going the way it’s going, they’ll be together for life.”

ew….ew…ew…I hope he doesn’t get to babysit…ew he looks like one of the freaks who sits in front of the mirror wearing their sister’s old oscar dress and rubbing bright orange lipstick all over his face while his wig is slightly askew telling himself how beautiful his angie will think he is. YUCK.

Hmmm, contradicting much? He says she’s absolutely not controlling, then says she likes to be the leader and that all great leaders are controlling.

Fab, i noticed that too. First she’s not controlling, then she’s a leader and all great leaders control. Maybe what he’s trying to say is that she’s not a very good leader. But nah, don’t think he’s smart enough to imply that if that was his intention.
