Good night. It seems that the Royal Opera House in London is hoping to redeem the tragic (nearly Greek tragic) life story of Anna Nicole Smith in a new musical rendering of her life entitled “Anna Nicole.”
The play will run from February 17 to March 4 and the titular role will be played by Eva-Maria Westbroe, who has performed in operas by Puccini and Verdi. So clearly this must be a career highlight for her.
Don’t expect anything less than a trainwreck that I’m sure will be true to life. Even the brochure for the show warns the faint of heart of “extreme language, drug abuse and sexual content.”
