I guess the French version of the Anna Faris comedy The House Bunny didn’t translate quite so well. The film had its premiere in France this weekend under the title Super Blonde. I haven’t done my research, but certainly Playboy must exist there!
The ladies of the red carpet did wear bunny ears — but they weren’t the usual type associated with Hugh Hefner’s nude models. If the French have no cultural reference to Playboy bunnies, I wonder what they thought of all the random girls wearing the rabbit headgear in the movie. They probably just thought it was some sort of new trend like those out-of-place gladiator sandals the girls are wearing.
