The hard-partying rock singer Avril Lavigne was spotted with an unlikely new suitor at the Alice in Wonderland UK premiere…her ex-husband Deryck Whibley! The two split in fall of last year and soon after Lavigne filed for divorce after their three-year marriage.
But they seemed to have reconciled at least for last night, where Avril showed up in a sexy black Dolce and Gabbana gown, then changed into an equally sultry little black dress. Lavigne sings the lead single for the film which her ex mixed and produced.
However, this may have just been a friendly outing.
“I am grateful for our time together, and I
am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship,” the Canadian singer said. “I
admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the
most amazing person I know, and I love him with all my heart.”
Despite this remaining “friendship,” the two left the after party together around two in the morning to head back to Avril’s hotel…
