Arkansas Grocery Store Censors Us Weekly Cover Of Elton John And David Furnish With New Baby

Shame, shame, shame. Elton John and David Furnish’s cover of Us Weekly featuring their newborn son Zachary was “shielded” from customers at Arkansas grocer Harps. The (homophobic) chain put a “family shield” over the cover “to protect young Harps shoppers” from seeing a gay couple with a child.

Because two men who are going to care for and adore their newborn child would be such a horrible thing for young people to see? How sad. I’m sure the couple, who are active in the cause for gay rights, will have a comment, and I can’t wait to hear what he has to say.

The name of the place id Harps. I don’t like giving them any publicity, but you might want to go visit. Make sure to squeeze the fruit to make sure it’s fresh.

    F**ing bigots!
