Estranged parents Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz reunited over the weekend to spend an eventful day with their son Bronx Mowgli. The happy family attended a party in Sherman Oaks with friends, and later headed to Studio City for a little shopping.
Although Ashlee filed for divorce back in February, the trio seemed to be having a wonderful day together. Pete and Ashlee were spotted holding hands just a few months ago, sparking rumors that reconciliation may be in the works.

While Pete has been busy working on his music, Ashlee is joining her sister Jessica Simpson as the co-creative director of a new teen fashion line. “I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens,” said Jessica. The line will hit stores in August.
