US Weekly has the scoop on Ashlee Simpson’s latest:
The singer, 21, has been offered the role of murderous Roxie Hart in the Broadway and London casts of the musical Chicago, a Simpson source confirms. “She will probably choose London,” says the source, who adds that she would start in October. (Earlier this year, Rita Wilson played the role in New York.)
Is she up to the task? Why not, she’s been “acting” like a pop star for the past couple of years.
Sidebar: Why is it all of her distinguishing features seem to be melting? Soon, she’s just going to dissolve into a pile of hair and teeth.
