Students at Steck Elementary in Aurora, Illinois were given a thrill that they’ll never soon forget. High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale gave a surprise performance at the school.

They noticed something was awry when a giant white tent and a stage had been erected on the playground for a special after school show. The kiddies began screaming and jostling for the best views as the Disney starlet took to the stage to sing her hits.

As for the reports that Ashley has moved on from boyfriend Jared Murillo, and is now dating music video director Scott Spencer. Ashley says she’s “single.” They’ve been seen together too often of late to be just friends. Look for a reversal of that status shortly.
