Australian Whitney Houston fans are pissed!  Concertgoers paid high prices for tickets to see the singer live, but some walked out early after Houston appeared exhausted and off tune at times.

“She couldn’t entertain a dead rat” said one disgruntled fan. Ouch! Watch a video from the concert after the jump.

Whitney may still be a diva, but some things are coming back a little slower. Traveling seems a bit stressful and she is looking pretty raged at the Australian concert, but the lady did years of hard core drugs so I say cut her some slack. I think it’s commendable that she’s trying to build her life back up, but then again I didn’t shell out a hundred bucks. Maybe she should have set up a stool and a piano in a smaller venue which would have been less demanding and lowered expectations of seeing the old school Whitney.

Australian promoter Andrew McManus went on TV and defended Houston saying “If they expected to hear Whitney of 20 years ago, go buy a CD, but if they wanted to see a true professional artist give 100% …enjoy the ride of an amazing talent, on stage.” Not a great sell really, remind me not to hire him when I go on tour.
