Does this woman toss gold doubloons into the crowd between songs? Because that is the only way I’d be willing to pay the amount she’s requesting for a concert ticket. Barbara Streisand tickets are selling for up to nearly $1000 a pop for her show London’s O2 Arena on July 18 ,the first UK concert she’s done in 13 years. Apparently, the least expensive tickets are going for almost $200. Compare that to the most expensive seats for the Rolling Stones this summer at Twickenham at around $300. Prices for tickets to see uber-diva, Madonna, on her “Confessions” tour ranged from about $160 to $320.

But a spokesman for the double Oscar winner said: “Seeing Barbra Streisand in concert is a momentous occasion that ranks with seeing Sinatra or Elvis.”

Her US tour broke box-office records.

This just confirms what I’ve always thought to be true. Old people are crazy.
